Transfer from Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa Visit Polonnaruwa, which was the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD and is a world heritage site. Here you can see the ruins of the royal palace, the Gal Viharaya where 4 splendid statues of the Buddha in ‘Upright’, ‘Sedentary’ and ‘Recumbent’ postures carved out of rock could be seen, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath, the statue of King Parakramabahu, the lankathilake, the watadage,the galpotha temple, the Kiri vehera and the remains of an old temple of the Tooth Relic and the prakrama Samudraya a lake built by king Prakramabahu. After breakfast Transfer to Dambulla Rock Temple, built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a world heritage site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceiling, is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters. Transfer Dambulla to Matale, and visit a spice garden to see the different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Evening visits temple of the tooth relics (Dalada Maligawa) which is in the royal palace compound of the former Kingdom of Kandy.

Transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could see the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

After early breakfast transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station from Nanu Oya to Ella by train with beautiful hill country scenery and visit beautiful Ravana waterfalls, after that proceed to Udawalawe check in to hotel evening leisure at Tissamaharama lake (Tissa wewa).Dinner and overnight stay in Udawalawe.

Udawalawe is the largest national park in Sri Lanka, which is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer, and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here. En route after lunch with beautiful sightseeing heading to the golden beaches in Sri Lanka.
