Starting from Kalpitiya, you will travel to Mannar, Jaffna, Point peduru,Anuradapura, Sigriya, Polonnaruwa Kandy , Nuwara Eliya and Galle during this tour before heading off to Kalutara-Waskaduwa to relax on the Golden beaches.

South to North along the way you can also choose to explore Sri Lanka’s pristine national parks and get a chance to see herds of elephants in the wild. Also learn the local way of life Three Nationalities (Sinhala, Tamil, and Muslims), Beautiful a train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya then Nuwara Eliya – the center of the hill country, En-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world-famous Ceylon tea. Itinerary

Day 1

Katunayaka airport to Kalpitiya

Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka A representative of Benita création travel will meet and greet you at the Katunayaka international airport, leave for Kalpitiya. With sightseeing (Depend on arrival time) and check in the hotel evening leisure time at the beach, Dinner overnight stay in Kalpitiya.

Day 2

Kalpitiya to Mannar

After early breakfast heading to the whale-watching excursion which makes it one of the best places in the world to view blue whales where they ascend from the deep and breach the surface to feed on krill. Blues Whales,the biggest of earth’s mammals,along with Sperm Whales,Orcs,Spinner Whales,and dolphins are among the species that can be viewed daily from the shimmering blue waters just off the coast. (December-April).

After lunch leave for Mannar on the way visit Our lady of Madhu This mainland church is Sri Lanka’s most hallowed Christian monument (though it’s thought to be have been constructed over an ancient Hindu shrine).Its walls shelter Our Lady of Madhu,a diminutive but revered Madonna-and-child statue brought here in 1670 by Catholics fleeing Protestant Dutch persecution in Mannar.Dinner and Overnight stay at Mannar.

Day 3

Mannar/Jaffna

After Breakfast visit Mannar located in an area known for its migratory birds (October-March)through small typical villages.After that visit Thirukketeeswaram Kovil is one of the pancha Ishwaram,the five historical Sri Lankan Shiva temples established to protect the island from natural disaster and Leave for Jaffna visit Nallur kovil onthe way from Mannar to Jaffna check in the hotel Dinner and overnight stay at Jaffna.

Day 4

Jaffna Ville /Nagadeepaya Temple

After Breakfast, visit The Buddhist Vihara at Nagadeepa (Nainativu Island) is a place sanctified by the visit of the Buddha and the dagoba is said to date back to ancient times. The Nagadeepa Temple is reached via a ferry ride. And afternoon leisure time at Jaffna town.

Day 5

Jaffna ville - Point pedro - Dambakola Patuna

After early breakfast visit Dambakola Patuna, It is Following the arrival of Buddhism to Sri Lanka over 2000 years ago, Sanghamitta, the daughter of the ancient Indian emperor Ashoka, landed at the ancient port of Dambakola Patuna with a sacred sapling from the Bodhi Tree under which the Buddha gained enlightenment.

Day 6

Jaffna to Anuradhapura

After Early breakfast leave for Anuradhapura, With Northern scenery, check-in the hotel afternoon visit to Sri maha Bo tree and Dagaba Dinner and Overnight stay at Anuradhapura.

 

Day 7

Anuradhapura -Dambulla-Minneriya

After breakfast Transfer to Dambulla rock temple, built by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a world heritage site. it is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. Meters of painted walls and ceiling, is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters. And Visit Minneriya National parc for an elephant Safari Dinner and overnight stay at Sigiriya

Day 8

Sigiriya-Polonnaruwa

Breakfast at the hotel Climbs the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 A.D). The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70-hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens. including the renowned water, gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-crowned frescoes of the heavenly maidens of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. these frescoes are painted in earth pigment on plaster.

Transfer from Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa Visit Polonnaruwa, which was the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD and is a world heritage site. Here you can see the ruins of the royal palace, the Gal Viharaya where 4 splendid statues of the Buddha in ‘Upright’, ‘Sedentary’ and ‘Recumbent’ postures carved out of rock could be seen, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath, the statue of King Parakramabahu, the lankathilake, the watadage, the galpotha temple, the Kiri vehera and the remains of an old temple of the Tooth Relic and the prakrama Samudraya a lake built by king Prakramabahu. Transfer from Polnnaruwa to Sigiriya. Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.

 

Day 9

Sigiriya- Matale-Kandy

Transfer Sigiriya to Matale visit a spice garden to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for Kandy city tour, visit the temple of the tooth relics (Dalada Maligawa) Which is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom Of Kandy. witness a cultural show. (1h) the spectacular fire dance and other Folklore demon dances, traditional Kandyan dancers are definitely breathtaking experiences to the visitors, after that relax and shopping. Overnight stay in Kandy.

 

Day 10

Kandy - Tea Plantation - Nuwara Eliya

Transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could see the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Visit the Sita Kovil, Check in to the hotel and leisure time in Nuwara Eliya Town Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 11

Nuwara eliya - Peradeniya - Kalutara

After early breakfast transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station from Nanu oya to Peradeniya by train with beautiful hill country scenery after that proceed to Kalutara by vehicle, check in to the hotel Dinner and overnight stay in Kalutara.

Day 12

Kalutara-Galle

After early breakfast leave for Galle, Tour with southern Scenery, Galle a UNESCO world heritage site. Once the chief port of Sri Lanka (then known as Ceylon), Galle is a town that boasts a rich colonial heritage, during the 17 th century It was once the key stronghold for the dutch during which time the Awe-inspiring Galle fort was constructed, and still stands to this day. One of the southeast Asia s best-preserved colonial-area cities, the city of Galle has also been listed as a World Heritage site. Optional- Madu river Safari Turtle hatchery Dinner overnight stay in Kalutara-Waskaduwa.

Day 13 & Day 14

Beach stay Kalutara

Leisure time at the beach. Afternoon Visit Kalutara temple Bodhiya ,overnight stay in Kalutara-Waskaduwa.

Day 15

Kalutara - Colombo - Airport

Departure to the Katunayaka airport, on the way Colombo city sightseeing (depend on departure time).
