Nagadeepaya

Nagadeepa is the highest point for Buddhists in Sri Lanka’s Northern Province. Nagadeepa is a sea-surrounded island around 32 km from Jaffna. The sacred place of Nagadeepaya, where the Supreme Buddha arrived for the second time, Dutugemunu, Saddhatissa, and others who ruled in Sri Lanka history recalls that monarchs preserved and cared for them during their reigns.
