Nine Arches Bridge, located in the Demodara region of Sri Lanka, is a historic railway bridge constructed in 1921 by the British colonial government. The bridge spans a spectacular 300 ft. gorge and is one of the most iconic landmarks in the country. It is a stunning example of colonial engineering and comprises nine graceful arches that are built of solid granite blocks.
