The Dambulla Cave Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. Built-in the 1st century BC, the temple consists of five caves containing many statues and paintings of the Lord Buddha. It is an important pilgrimage site and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
